my son is, literally, getting bigger everyday. at eight months, he is now roughly 20 pounds, which is the average weight of a one year old child. to remind me that once he was only 6.5 lbs (as well as all the little details during the time of his birth), i worked on a photo project about him.
the inspiration came to me while searching for nursery room decorations. most of the ones i found are either pricey or, if DIY type, involve materials that are not readily and locally available.
for this specific project, i used a picture frame i had in stock (white frame works best for this). if a two window picture frame is not available, two picture frames can be used instead.
i took note of his birth details and encoded these in a word document. i chose a font and font color suited for him and fitted all these in a 4×6 frame (click here for sample: baby details template). i also selected one among the many pictures he has (which was the hardest thing i had to do).
i mounted it in our room and, voila, instant wall art!
save for this decor, the walls of our room are still bare. the plan is to fill it up with more pictures.
any moment now.
